Slipway Maintenance Works, May 2010

Rocks washed away by tide exposing slipway edge Reinstating rocks to edge of slipway to offer protection from tidal erosion Reinstatement of side protection complete Over time a considerable amount of rocks and silt have washed over the end of the slipway Clearing around 15 tonnes of rocks and silt from the slipway end Work complete, base of slipway completely clear, much safer launching

Where should we park?

No Parking - entrance road to slipway must be kept clear Park anywhere along here as long as gates and shutters are not blocked No restrictions, park along wall side first and then field side Main Promenade - NO Access to or parking on the main promenade Slipway - launching and recovery only, no parking
